Okello Okello, born Okello Oyena Joshua has been in the comedy industry since 2014 where he honed his craft until he was ready to have his one man show Rich Friends Poor Family in 2017.

Thereafter, he founded and hosted The Kampala Comedy Festival in 2018 and was nominated for the Janzi Awards Comedian of The Year in the subsequent year. He has performed at The Punchline (Tanzania), Afrofest Canada (2019) and Juba International Comedy Festival (2022).

In 2018, he established The Comedy Black Friday which has gone on to become one of the biggest comedy shows in the country to date.

He has influenced for brands like Cash 5. Currently, he stars on the TV Series;- Senkyu Boss and Kajjubi’s Estate, which he writes for together with Katale Kange and Hotel Mara.
